Reiki is an ancient healing art. The practitioner uses touch to act as a conduit for the channeling of Ki ( Universal Life Energy ) into the client. This helps in the elimination of imbalance and dis-ease that may have been brought on by a myriad of reasons. The Reiki practitioner places their hands upon the client and the flow of Ki into the client commences. The client will more than likely experience a warm to hot feeling flowing from the practitioners hands, this is a healing energy. Reiki helps on all levels of mind, body and spirit. Elaine has been doing certifications in all levels of Reiki for over six years. Graduates form her certifications find that her method of teaching touches upon the true spiritual approach to the Reiki energy. Each level that is taken is fun, exciting, and most of all life changing.

These all day workshops are held at Elaine's studio, Favorite Things Studio, in Pembroke, MA. The intimate atmosphere here is calming and conducive to taking on this commitment to help yourself and mankind. Reiki Level One Certification Workshop, $100.00
Saturday January 17, 2009 10:00 am - 6:30 pm	In this all day workshop the student will be taught the ethics, history, and practical applications of Reiki. You will be attuned to the first level of Reiki and learn the application of Reiki to yourself, children and infants, pets and plants. If you live and breathe, you can do Reiki.
Reiki Level Two Certification Workshop, $200.00
Saturday January 24, 2009 10:00 am - 6:00 pm	This all day workshop is meant for those who have already been attuned to the level of Reiki I. In this level you will learn how to use three of the symbols that were placed in your aura during your first attunement. You will learn how to place energy in, and how to draw unwanted energy out. You will also learn how to target the emotional body, and how to send healings from a distance.
Reiki Level Three Certification Workshop, $300.00
Saturday January 31, 2009 10:00 am - 5:30 pm	This workshop is for those who have completed their Reiki I and II levels of certification and are looking activate the final symbol which resides within their aura. Practical sessions are covered from beginning to end with special instruction in techniques which Elaine has learned to incorporate in her own private sessions. Regular use of the Reiki energy is needed before one can take on the Reiki three level attunement. 10 case studies must be presented to Elaine prior to workshop. This workshop prepares the serious student to move on to their apprenticeship to achieve their Master/Teacher Level if they so desire. One must be interviewed by Elaine before the Master/Teacher level is done.
What You Will Need
	These all day workshops are hands on, comfortable clothing is suggested. Most people like to sit on the floor for this kind of workshop. Chairs, floor pillows and blankets are provided, however a back-jack (floor chair) is a good idea for those with "sensitive" backs. Hand-outs are given for all classes. Spring water, tea, and snacks are provided. Bring your own lunch. Pre-registration and payment is required. If a previous level of Reiki was taken with another teacher, a copy of your certificate is necessary. If you were certified by Elaine, you may repeat that level of Reiki free of charge (registration necessary).
